Each day women visit Faith City Ministries hurting and in need of security. Each day children walk our halls still believing tomorrow is going to be better. Each day broken men find their way out of pride and ask for help to become a better man. Each day Faith City Ministries reaches out to fill those very needs.

Faith City Ministries helps heal many wounds, emotional, physical and spiritual. We live in an impersonal, disposable society. In a self-centered environment more and more families are becoming fractured. The problems of providing for a family has become more difficult. The percentage of people who are homeless due to financial failures, personal misfortune and abuse is growing. Most of us tend to think of the homeless as stereotypical men and women who are drug addicts or alcoholics. Although there are plenty who fit this profile there are many more becoming homeless who are educated, who have had careers and families.

Unfortunately, children represent the fastest growing segment of the homeless population. Faith City Ministries recognizes this is not their choice. Children truly are victims of circumstance. Faith City Ministries shelters, feeds and provides clothing for kids of all ages every day. Regardless of the time of year or the season, families find themselves in desperate situations.

We have broken ground on a new addition to our Family Lighthouse. Thanks to your generosity, the building is paid for. But that is just the beginning. If we don't have the resources to provide daily needs, we will not be able to minister to the families.

A large part of Faith City Ministry's task is to let people who are hurting know they have value and are loved. Jesus, through Faith City Ministries, gives each person hope and joy in knowing they are wanted and have a future. Every one of them is a child of God. Won't you help us financially so we never have to turn one of God's treasures away? Please pray and ask God to lead you in partnering with Faith City Ministries with your financial gifts.
