The Faith City Ministries cooking staff works hard every day. They perform a number of tasks which include meal preparation, cooking, and serving three meals a day. They also prepare emergency bags of groceries for those in need of food. This service is called The Food Box Ministry.
Meals for the homeless are served at 6:30 am, 12:30 pm and 6:00pm everyday but Sunday. Anyone is welcome to come eat.
Our biggest challenge is food donations. We welcome all food donations, however, the larger needs are donations of poultry, pork, beef, and dairy products.
Faith City is the only organization in Amarillo providing three free meals everyday but Sunday. Faith City Ministries serves on average 325 to 340 meals per day. We welcome all who walk through the doors of Faith City Ministries. We feed all who are hungry. We give respect to all we feed.
