Paula O'Neal
Paula has served on the board of Faith City Mission since 2005, becoming involved through helping with a women's Bible study. FCM holds a special place in her heart due to the personal impact of her father's struggle and victory over alcoholism. Witnessing God heal and transform lives continues to be a powerful draw to the mission.
Over the years, Paula has taught numerous Bible studies, led women’s life groups, and mentored younger women. She has volunteered with several organizations and served on the Golden Spread Emmaus Board.
Outside of her service work, she enjoys baking and gardening. She and her husband, Randy, are members of Messiah’s House and have been married for over 50 years. They have two grown, married children and one granddaughter.

Executive Director
Robert Burton
Pastor Robert has been a valued member of the Faith City Mission (FCM) staff since 2020, bringing with him a heart for service and a deep commitment to the mission's vision. In January 2024, he was appointed by the FCM Board of Directors as the Executive Director, a role that entrusts him with overseeing the daily operations of the mission, as well as managing staff development and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
Pastor Robert works closely with the FCM Board of Directors to ensure the mission’s programs and services align with its core values and objectives. His leadership and dedication to the mission’s mission continue to have a lasting impact on the lives of those FCM serves, as he strives to guide the organization toward greater growth and success.

Delisa Avalos
Delisa has been serving on the board of Faith City Mission since September 2021. A dedicated stay-at-home mom, she attends Trinity Fellowship Church with her husband, Francisco, whom she has been married to for 13 years. Together, they have two wonderful daughters, Olivia and Michaela, who bring immense joy to her life and keep her busy. Serving on the board has been a profound blessing to both her and her family, allowing her to make a meaningful impact while balancing family life with her passion for helping others.

Christian Bass
Christian Bass currently resides in Amarillo, Texas, where he is deeply committed to both his professional career and community involvement. He owns and operates LTD Builders, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership in the construction industry. Since 2024, Christian has served on the board of Faith City Mission, where he is honored to work alongside the dedicated board and staff.
In addition to his role at Faith City Mission, he and his family have been active members of Messiah’s House, their home church of 11 years. Christian, along with his wife Sara and their three beautiful children, is passionate about serving the Amarillo community, believing that serving others is truly being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Matthew Mills
Matthew began serving on the board of Faith City Mission in 2025, finding it to be a deeply fulfilling experience. As a farmer and machine salesman, he balances a busy professional life while staying committed to giving back to the community.
River Fellowship is his church home, where he finds support and spiritual growth. Grateful for the opportunity to serve on the board, Matthew is passionate about combining their faith and desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
